To be honest, it is different for everyone! I will be up front and honest with you about my suggested frequency and we will work collaboratively to ensure you are getting what you need. There is always a possibility that I am not the right fit for you and that's OK! I am happy to make referrals to other professionals throughout our community should you need it.

HOW MUCH WILL SERVICES COST?

Currently, the rate for individual services is $85/session. I do offer a sliding fee scale. Please reach out to discuss in more detail. I do also see couples. The rate for a couples session is $125.

Each session is 45-55 minutes in length.

I am a contracted provider with some Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), including:

Reasons I Choose to Not Accept Insurance

Welcome to our therapy practice, where I prioritize providing high-quality mental health care to our clients. While I understand the importance of insurance coverage in accessing healthcare services, I have made the conscious decision not to accept insurance for the following reasons:

  1. Confidentiality and Privacy: We prioritize maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and privacy for our clients. When utilizing insurance, clients' personal and sensitive health information is shared with insurance companies, which may compromise privacy and confidentiality.

  2. Treatment Flexibility and Personalization: By not being bound by insurance regulations and requirements, we can tailor treatment plans specifically to each client's unique needs and circumstances. This flexibility allows us to provide a more personalized and effective therapeutic experience.

  3. Reduced Administrative Burden: Dealing with insurance paperwork, pre-authorization processes, and billing requirements can be time-consuming and administratively burdensome. By not accepting insurance, we can focus our time and energy on providing the best possible care to our clients.

  4. Avoiding Limitations on Treatment Options: Insurance companies often dictate the number of sessions and the type of treatments they will cover. This can limit the options available to clients and may not align with the most effective treatment approach for their specific concerns.

  5. Control Over Fees and Cost Transparency: Not accepting insurance allows us to set our fees independently, enabling us to maintain transparency regarding the cost of our services. Clients can be fully aware of the financial commitment associated with their treatment from the beginning.

  6. Focus on Quality of Care: Our primary focus is on providing high-quality mental health care. By not being tied to insurance reimbursement rates and restrictions, we can dedicate our attention to delivering the best possible therapeutic outcomes for our clients.

  7. Availability and Accessibility: By streamlining our practice without insurance involvement, we can often accommodate clients more quickly and efficiently, ensuring timely access to mental health services.

I understand that the cost of therapy can be a concern for many individuals. I encourage open communication about fees and are committed to working collaboratively with clients to explore alternative options for affording therapy, such as sliding scale fees or flexible payment plans.

My mission is to prioritize your mental health and wellbeing, and I am dedicated to working with you to ensure that you receive the highest standard of care throughout your therapeutic journey.
